SMS Messaging Terms & Conditions

Asteroid IT LLC — Effective Date: July 8, 2026

1. Program Description

Asteroid IT LLC (“Asteroid IT,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates an SMS support messaging program for existing clients. Messages sent under this program include IT support updates, ticket notifications, troubleshooting communications, and service-related alerts. This program is intended solely for existing Asteroid IT clients who have a signed service agreement with Asteroid IT.

2. Consent and Opt-In

By completing the SMS opt-in form at asteroidit.com/sms-optin and checking the consent checkbox, you expressly consent to receive SMS text messages from Asteroid IT at the phone number you provide. You may also opt in by texting YES to our support number.

Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing any service. You are not required to opt in to receive IT support services from Asteroid IT.

Opt-in consent is specific to SMS text messaging only and does not constitute consent to receive marketing emails, phone calls, or communications through other channels.

Opt-in consent is non-transferable and non-assignable and applies solely to messages sent by Asteroid IT under this program.

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your active support requests and ticket activity. You may receive messages when a ticket is opened, updated, or closed, or when a technician needs to communicate with you regarding an active support issue. We do not send marketing or promotional messages under this program.

4. Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Asteroid IT is not responsible for any charges imposed by your mobile carrier. Please contact your carrier for information about your messaging plan.

5. Opt-Out Instructions

You may opt out of receiving SMS messages from Asteroid IT at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. Upon receipt of your STOP request, we will send a single confirmation message confirming that you have been unsubscribed and that no further messages will be sent.

You may re-subscribe at any time by texting START to our support number or by completing the opt-in form at asteroidit.com/sms-optin.

Other accepted opt-out keywords include: STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT.

This program supports messaging on all major US carriers including but not limited to AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, Boost Mobile, US Cellular, and MetroPCS. Carrier support may vary. Asteroid IT is not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.

8. Privacy and Data Use

Asteroid IT is committed to protecting your privacy. The following applies to all information collected in connection with this SMS program:

  • We collect your name and phone number for the sole purpose of delivering SMS support communications.
  • No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
  • All categories of data collected exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent. This information will not be shared with any third parties under any circumstances.
  • Your opt-in data will never be sold, rented, or transferred to any third party for their direct marketing purposes.
  • Data collected through this program is governed by our Privacy Policy, available at asteroidit.com/privacy-policy.

9. Prohibited Use

This SMS program is intended for existing Asteroid IT clients only. Use of this number for unsolicited messages, spam, harassment, or any purpose other than legitimate support communication is strictly prohibited.

10. Program Modifications and Termination

Asteroid IT reserves the right to modify or discontinue this SMS program at any time. In the event of program discontinuation, enrolled users will be notified via SMS prior to termination of the program.
