If your business uses D-Link Wi-Fi cameras or video recorders, there is an urgent security issue you need to address right now.
The U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) has flagged three serious vulnerabilities in D-Link devices that are being actively exploited by hackers. The affected devices include older models of Wi-Fi cameras and network video recorders.
What’s Going On?
CISA has added these three flaws to its Known Exploited Vulnerabilities (KEV) catalog, which means hackers are already using them to break into systems. The vulnerabilities include:
- Remote password disclosure on D-Link DCS-2530L and DCS-2670L, hackers can steal admin passwords without needing access to your network.
- Command injection on the same camera models — attackers can take control of the device once inside.
- Unauthenticated code execution on D-Link DNR-322L video recorders, this model is no longer supported, meaning no patches will be released.
Because these products have reached end-of-life status, patching is not an option. The only secure move is to remove and replace them immediately.
Why It Matters to You
If these devices are still on your network, your business could be exposed to:
- Ransomware attacks
- Network takeovers
- Unauthorized access to camera feeds
- Full control of outdated devices without you knowing
Even government agencies have been ordered to remove or isolate these devices by August 26, 2025, small businesses should treat it just as seriously.
What Every Business Should Do Right Now
- Check your office and warehouse for any of these D-Link models (DCS-2530L, DCS-2670L, or DNR-322L)
